Memphis Breaks is a collection of raw, soulful drum performances inspired by the legendary rhythm sections of Memphis in the ’60s and ’70s.
Recorded on a Ludwig Black Diamond Pearl kit with bottom heads pulled — the dry, punchy approach of the classic Memphis sessions. Captured through Coles 4038 ribbon mics and API 3124 preamps before hitting the DAW.
